Services
The sharpening bench and the laser bed.
Two kinds of work, same shop. If you need a knife that cuts, ask us. If you need a gift that looks made on purpose, look at Etsy or send a custom idea.
Knife sharpening
A working edge. Not a show edge.
We sharpen the knives you cook with, carry, and keep. The goal is a clean, useful edge you can maintain — not a fragile razor that dies on the first tomato.
Oberedge is in Peyton, Colorado. Drop-off and pickup are by arrangement. If you are nearby, that is the easy path. If you are farther out, message us and we will tell you whether shipping knives makes sense for your set.
What we sharpen
- Kitchen knives: chef’s, paring, utility, bread, santoku, carving
- Pocket knives and everyday carry
- Hunting and outdoor blades
- Most household knives that still have life in them
Ask before sending serrated knives, ceramic, or anything with a broken tip or a wad of rust. Some of those we can help with. Some we should not take your money for.
Turnaround vibe
Typical pace is a few days after we have your knives — not same-day, not a mystery month. We’ll confirm when you inquire, especially around holidays.
How to inquire

Laser engraving
Metal, wood, leather, slate. Made here.
The laser is how the gifts happen: poker card guards with a sense of humor, Halloween lanterns that cast a shadow, coasters, boards, hats, and one-off pieces when the idea is good.
- Ready-made work is listed on Etsy
- Custom text, names, dates, and simple logos
- We confirm the design before we run it
Double-sided metal, $39.99. Six designs live.
Wooden shadow-casters. Six Halloween scenes.
Tell us the object, the words, and the date you need it.
